Additional Information
Teancum D. Light (“T”) is the founder and President of Lighthouse Wealth Management. He has a passion for providing personalized, comprehensive solutions that benefit the lives of his clients and their loved ones.
T received his Juris Doctorate degree cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and received special recognition for his contributions to his Tax Qualified Plans course as well as an Estate Planning Seminar. He received his BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University, and he has been a licensed CPA since 2011. He is also a Certified Financial Planner® and a Registered Investment Advisor.
He recently served as an adjunct faculty member at the Graham School of Business at York College, where he taught financial planning to MBA students.
Before starting Lighthouse, T served as Vice President of a registered investment advisory firm. There, he helped manage over $300 million in assets, provided estate and tax planning services, and prepared clients’ tax returns and financial plans. He also provided consulting services to medical practices throughout Central Pennsylvania.
T worked seven years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP (PwC) in the Washington metro area and taught at the Community College of Baltimore County.
He joined the National Law Review as a publishing author with his article, “Health Savings Account: A Hidden Gem in Employee Benefits”.
T enjoys spending time with his wife and children, visiting his parents in Alaska, playing basketball, reading, hiking, and spending quality time in the outdoors.
He is conversant in Spanish.
