Planning Specialties

I’m elated to have found a career that allows me to combine my love of finance with my desire to help people create the future they dream of...

My role is that of an independent, trusted financial advisor, coach, and mentor. I have the privilege of walking my clients through the emotion, confusion, and fear that often comes with making financial decisions and setting long-term goals. My mission is to understand my client's unique set of circumstances, values, and goals, so that I can create and implement a financial plan that suits their individual needs. I find out what money means to them, and help align their values with their spending. I strive to provide personalized service that exceeds client expectations with uncompromising integrity.

Additional Information

Hi, my name is Liz Gillette and I developed a passion for personal finance back in 2009!

I found myself with a mountain of debt and a real fear for how I was going to turn things around. I took to reading and began to educate myself on the many tried and true ways to get my financial house in order. That experience transformed me in such a critical way that it led me to my career in walking others through their own journey of ownership and empowerment.

I guess you could say I’ve always had an obsession with “strength and empowerment”. Maybe it’s because I have 3 older brothers, maybe it’s because I walked onto my college volleyball team as the weakest member of the team and earned myself a full scholarship and all-conference nod. I’m just always going to root for the underdog. The guy who’s been handed a rough hand and despite the odds finds a way to pursue a better life. The 'Rudy' Ruettigers’ on the world.

It will come as no surprise to you that I love working with clients that are motivated for change, and ready to commit to a process. I expect honesty and clear communication when we’re talking about something as intimate as your own finances, and you can expect the same from me. I am honest, authentic, organized (my husband would say to a fault), and passionate about my career. I have great respect for the role I play, as a financial planner and coach, in my clients lives. It’s truly an honor to walk beside you and act as your accountability partner in creating the life that you’ve worked so hard for.

I hope this gives you a little glimpse into who I am, and what your planning experience will be like under my wing!
