Mr. Buco graduated from West Virginia University in 1976 with a BA in Political Science and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional. Glen is one of the founders of West Financial Services and has more than 30 years of financial planning and investment management experience. Prior to West Financial Services, Glen was a Senior Auditor with the Federal Election Commission. He has served the profession in a number of capacities: member of the Board of Practice Standards of the CFP board; Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association; Chairman of the Board and President of the Maryland Suburban Society of the Financial Planning Association.Additional Information
Glen speaks regularly to audiences on financial planning and investment management topics and is quoted frequently in consumer publications. He was previously an adjunct professor of financial planning for the Florida Institute of Technology where he taught investments to candidates for CFP® certification. He has been selected one of “The Best Financial Advisers," in the nation by Worth Magazine, 1996-1998, as well as 2007-2008, and as one of “The Best Financial Planners in Washington D.C.” by Washingtonian Magazine, 1994-2002, 2009 and 2013.
