Stan started his financial planning and asset management practice in Clinton, NJ in 1996. He strives to develop a personal relationship with each of his clients, and then jointly prepare an investment program that suits both their goals as well as their temperament.

Stan's undergraduate degree is from Syracuse University in Economics, and he has a Master of Arts from John Jay College and a Master of Public Administration from New York University. He also completed his doctoral coursework at New York University with a concentration in finance.

Stan taught for 11 years at Raritan Valley Community College, and one year as an adjunct at The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College). He also served as a contributing editor and columnist for three Reed Business Communication publications, writing articles and columns on personal finance. He also wrote a column for fellow advisors in the NAPFA Advisor, the national publication of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors, for approximately ten years.

Since 1997, Stan has been a member of The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), one of the nation's leading fee-only financial planning associations. In order to meet NAPFA's stringent continuing education requirements, he attends NAPFA regional and national conferences as well as educational programs provided by the Institutional Service Group of Charles Schwab. He served for four years on NAPFA's Northeast-MidAtlantic Regional Board of Directors, to include two years as Treasurer, and chaired the 2007 Northeast/Mid-Atlantic Regional conference in Hartford, CT. In addition, he is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute, and attends their educational conferences as well.
