Stephen C. Poplaski, PhD, CPA, CFP® oversees a team that aids clients in comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and income tax planning for individuals and businesses. Stephen's training and experience focuses on behavioral finance and aims to assist clients with financial decision making.
Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance, and a PhD in Personal Finance. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and Certified Financial Planner® practitioner.
Stephen has taught courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in personal financial planning, corporate analysis and valuation, individual income tax, and applied behavioral finance. He also served as a member of the Kansas State University's National Advisory Board for undergraduate and graduate degree programs in financial planning and as a peer reviewer for the "Journal of Financial Planning."
Stephen provides strategic planning for nonprofit enterprises and has served as chair of the finance committee for a local Christian church. He and his wife Maureen reside in Narragansett, RI where they enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing tennis, and long walks on the beach.
