Robert Dowling is a Principal and Wealth Manager at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. In his role he serves high-net worth individuals, families, non-profit organizations, corporations and others seeking wealth management and portfolio management expertise.
Rob has more than 20 years of experience in the wealth management profession. Before starting at Modera, Rob was a principal in a branch office of an independent brokerage business where he managed portfolios for high-net-worth clients and a team of financial advisors.
Rob is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). He holds the Certified Financial Planner™ certification.

Rob has presented a variety of educational seminars focusing on areas such as retirement planning, Roth IRA conversion strategies and fixed income strategies. He is a contributor to the online news site New Jersey News Room, writing on such topics as TIPS (Treasury Inflation- Protected Securities). Rob has been quoted in national and local media outlets including the Wall Street Journal, US News and World Report, Bloomberg, and the Bergen Record.
Outside of Modera, Rob is involved with numerous charitable endeavors. He has volunteered for Jumpstart Your Retirement Days sponsored by Kiplinger’s Personal Finance and NAPFA. The program offers free retirement advice to callers via a telephone hotline. Rob currently serves as Treasurer for the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce and as Trustee for the Ridgewood Baseball and Softball Association (RBSA). He is also a board member for the Maroons Soccer Club and a founding member of the Ridgewood Chamber Networking Group that is comprised of business professionals. (CAM 3109)
