Social Security - Anja is a specialist in Social Security and Medicare issues and can advise you how to maximize your Social Security income.
Life Planning - To be able to get a deeper understanding of clients and discover with her clients what are their dreams and what are their profound life goals to plan for Anja pursued the RLP (Registered Life Planner) designation at the Kinder Institute of Life Planning and uses the Life Planning approach in her work.
Non-US Citizen issues - Many financial planning issues are different when the client or one of the spouses is a non-US citizen, like retirement planning, estate planning, tax planning, investments and insurance.
Additional Information
Anja is an instructor of Retirement Planning in the Certificate of Financial Planning Program at New York University (NYU). She also teaches students Financial Literacy at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC) through the FPA ProBono program.
For the FPA ProBono Committee she also gives seminars and workshops on budgeting, debt management, credit repair and other topics for different non-profit organisations. With a few other planners she is creating a Workbook for Financial Literacy to be used in all FPA ProBono Programs.
Anja received an MBA from Purdue University and Tilburg University in the Netherlands. Before she entered the Financial Planning profession she worked in International Business Development.
