Planning Specialties
While Andy has worked with clients in many different life stages, he specializes in working with retirees and those transitioning to retirement. His specialties include, but are not limited to: Crafting and executing comprehensive retirement plans, managing investment portfolios, creating ongoing distribution analyses, implementing optimal Social Security strategies, coordinating tax planning with your tax professional, and reviewing and updating estate plans.Additional Information
Andy developed his interest in personal finance early on in his childhood. What started out as picking stocks and following the financial markets, to reading books about real estate and rental properties, would ultimately develop into a passion in financial planning with a focus on helping retirees.
He has always believed that reaching financial freedom is one of the single greatest accomplishments that one can achieve for themselves and their family.
Prior to joining BTGRP, Andy worked for a reputable financial firm for over a decade, where he managed a large client practice made up of high-net-worth clients, providing portfolio management advice and financial planning. He was excited to transition to an RIA that will limit the number of clients in the practice in order to deliver the highest possible value to each relationship.
Andy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, a Master’s Degree in Personal Financial Planning, and most notably he is a Certified Financial Planner™. He also holds Securities Licenses 7, 63, and 66.
Andy has an athlete’s background with an underdog’s mentality. He played Division 1 college baseball, during which time he went from a walk-on to an all-conference senior captain. While age has slowly crept up, and now it’s just men’s league softball, he can still wow the crowd! Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Andy now lives in Phoenix, Arizona with his wife, 11-year-old stepson, and their 6-month-old son.
