Planning Specialties

My business partner and I work together on all client relationships simply because we believe in the power of the client experience. Together, with over 35 years of experience, we help clients grow, protect, spend, and pass their wealth so they can live well. A few of the ways we do so: -Build world-class investment portfolios based on Nobel Prize academic research -Implement tax reduction strategies -Mitigate risks to life and wealth through various insurance strategies -Create sustainable income -Transfer wealth efficiently through various estate and charitable planning techniques

Additional Information

Once upon a time, I worked alongside exceptionally bright, accomplished professionals on investment trading floors and as an expat in SE Asia. I was surprised to learn how few of these professionals had a vision for their own financial lives. This dichotomy stuck with me. Fast forward several years. I became a Certified Financial Planner (TM), shared advice on how to make better money moves with NerdWallet, and went on to lead financial planning for clients at a large investment advisory firm. I co-founded Uplevel Wealth to help women and professional families build wealth and create plans for their possibilities. When I'm not working with clients, I often write on motivational and behavioral aspects of financial planning. I've been featured in the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch, USA Today, NerdWallet, Business Insider, MoneyGeek, and WSJ veteran Jonathan Clements Humble Dollar. As an Oregon native, I love the outdoors, good pinot, and chasing after my young twins as they head in opposite directions.
