Scholar Financial, LLC's principal is Ron A. Rhoades, JD, CFP(r), named as one of the investment advisory professions "Top 25 Most Influential Persons" by Investment Advisor magazine for 2011. A former member of the National Board of Directors of NAPFA, Professor Rhoades currently serves on the Standards Resource Commission for the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., where he chairs its Practice Standards subcommitee.
Ron has received numerous awards for his teaching innovations and for his advocacy work, including the "Fiduciary of the Year Award" from The Committee for the Fiduciary Standard for his contributions to consumer protection and influence on the fiduciary debate in Washington, D.C.
