AFP is a boutique, fee-only (fiduciary) Registered Investment Advisory firm that believes the best financial life plan flows from how our clients envision what an amazing life looks like for them. This is our roadmap. We intentionally spend time upfront bringing this into view. Through our holistic, collaborative, and forward-looking process, we design a financial plan and manage our clients’ investments to support their vision. This approach has culminated in long-term relationships with our clients over the last 29 years. As an independent firm, AFP also uses a flat-fee structure instead of the more widely used Assets Under Management (AUM) fee model. We believe a fair fee should be based on the complexity and time needed to work with our clients, not on the amount of assets there are to manage.

We are on a mission to reshape the financial planning experience. So often we find our people have forgotten or maybe don’t know what they want their life to look like in the future. They self-edit; they limit in their own mind what they think may be possible out of fear of not knowing. Providing the space for them to visualize, talk through, and reimagine takes time, yet it is at the heart of how we craft a financial plan that supports their future. Ultimately, our purpose is to provide an experience that helps our clients use their resources to achieve financial freedom.
