Hi! I'm Amy Riddell, CFP®, CFA - founder of AFT Planning, a fee-only financial planning firm serving clients in the Tampa Bay area and remotely across the US.
I typically work with mid-career professionals who are questioning the traditional 9-to-5-until-65 path. Maybe you're feeling burnt out, curious about a sabbatical, considering a career change, or working toward financial independence - and you want a plan that actually fits the life you're trying to build.
My planning process starts with a strong financial foundation: reviewing your cash flow, spending, savings, investments, tax strategy, insurance, and estate basics. From there, ongoing planning becomes a year-round thinking partnership - adapting as life evolves, modeling "what if" scenarios, and helping you make confident decisions about work, income, and lifestyle flexibility.
I've been in the financial advice industry since 2012 and established AFT Planning in 2023. I hold both the CFP® and CFA designations and work on a fee-only basis with no investment minimums - making comprehensive planning accessible regardless of where you are in your journey.
Outside of work: niche museums, failing upwards at new hobbies, and petting cats.
