Sound financial planning begins with an understanding of your goals, dreams, and challenges. ADV Investment Management and Financial Planning was founded in 1985 by Anthony DeVito with the mission of addressing each client’s unique situation. Drawing on past experience as an educator and researcher, Tony develops a broad investment strategy incorporating employer-sponsored retirement accounts to help his clients realize their life goals. Kobie Thakar has worked with Tony for nearly 10 years with a focus on creating financial plans,  and then assisting with implementing and adjusting those plans as life brings new challenges. It is important to both Tony and Kobie that clients have a thorough understanding of how they can achieve their financial goals. 

Tony and Kobie are fiduciaries, which means that at all times they put your interests ahead of their own. Strictly fee-only, there are no commissions, hidden fees, external incentives or bonuses for recommending specific products. Your situation and comfort level are the basis for any recommendation. 

Tony is typically compensated for on-going investment management by a percentage of assets under management. If you prefer, Tony may also work on a project basis, in which case the hourly fee and total number of hours to be spent are agreed in advance. Kobie typically works to develop financial plans on a project basis, in which case the fee is agreed in advance.
