Mark Ricketson is a Vice President and Charitable Planning Consultant for Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity that has helped donors support more than 255,000 nonprofit organizations with over $30 billion in grants since its inception in 1991.1 The mission of Fidelity Charitable® is to further the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple and effective. Mr. Ricketson assumed his current role in 2004.

In this role, Mr. Ricketson serves as a premier resource on charitable planning for advisors and their clients in the Mountain West. He educates advisors on current charitable planning trends and strategies, along with the benefits of leveraging Fidelity Charitable’s donor-advised fund program to help philanthropic clients give more to the charities they support.

Before joining Fidelity Charitable, Mr. Ricketson worked as an investment representative for Quick & Reilly where he was responsible for advising clients on their investments and retirement planning. Prior to that he was Regional Marketing Associate at Putnam Investments where he worked with financial planners and broker/dealers in the southeastern United States, helping them develop new client relationships and manage existing relationships.
