Nathan Zahm
Nathan Zahm is a senior investment analyst and lead actuary in Vanguard Investment Strategy Group. He is part of the team responsible for establishing and overseeing the investment philosophy, methodology, and portfolio construction strategies supporting Vanguard's advisory services, products, and strategies. Mr. Zahm's areas of expertise include portfolio construction and analysis for defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, and retirement income strategies.
Before joining Vanguard, he worked as a consulting actuary at Towers Watson and Watson Wyatt Worldwide, performing actuarial valuations and assisting some of the country's largest pension funds with various issues. Mr. Zahm earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland. He is a fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and an Enrolled Actuary under ERISA.
