Michael Chasnoff
Michael founded Truepoint in 1990. His focus is providing strategic vision and leadership to the firm and leading business development efforts.
Michael is a former chairman of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA), a long-tenured member of the Institutional Advisor Council of Fidelity Investments and most recently served on the National Advisors Trust Company (NATC) Board of Directors. Michael is a founding member and influential leader of the International Center for Wealth Advisory Excellence (ICWAE).
Michael’s achievements have been recognized extensively by the national press, including The Wall Street Journal, Worth, Barron’s and Medical Economics. His leadership has also led to Truepoint’s regular recognition by publications including Inc., AdvisorOne, Financial Advisor and Accounting Today.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Texas and is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional.
Outside of work, Michael serves on the Cincinnati Art Museum Finance & Budget Committee, Summit Country Day School Foundation and mentors students at Silverton Paideia Academy.
Michael has three children. He loves to golf, run, exercise and play guitar.
