Kate Holmes
Kate Holmes, CFP® is the Founder of Belmore Financial, LLC, a location-independent practice she started in 2013. After nearly eight years at an investment advisory firm, where she was a shareholder, she left to create a practice that she sees as the future of financial planning. Kate works with all clients virtually for a flat fee or ongoing monthly subscription, regardless of their assets, net worth, or location.
Kate is active in the financial planning industry, serving on the CFP Board Women’s Initiative Council, as a CFP Board Ambassador to Las Vegas, as the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Nevada President-Elect, and on other committees within the FPA and NAPFA. She is also involved in the financial technology world and serves of the Board of Advisors for Kivvik.
Kate is also a speaker, a writer, and is regularly quoted or featured in the media, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters, U.S. News & World Report, and Forbes.
As an avid traveler, Kate enjoys being able to work from anywhere and add to the list of 20+ countries she’s visited, including Australia, where she graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor of Arts in Photography.
