This session will provide an overview of the process used to perform a business assessment for the purposes of helping business owner clients prepare to sell a business to a third party, or transfer ownership to partners, family members and/or key employees. Participants will learn about the foundation of the process, factors that diminish business value, factors that determine business value, the business assessment process, the importance of pre-due diligence and what factors need to be in place in order for an owner to transition out of the business.
