Brett Danko, CFP®️

Brett Danko, CFP®️ has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years and is a featured nationwide lecturer on matters of personal finance. He is regularly called upon by the financial services industry to provide financial planning training to top tier financial advisors and to consult on complex planning issues affecting their clients.

Brett is a dynamic speaker with the ability to deliver complex information to professionals and clients in an easily understandable way. He teaches all the required CFP®️ Certification Education Courses (Financial Planning, Insurance, Investments, Income Tax, Retirement and Estate) and CFP®️ Board Certification Examination Prep Courses throughout the United States. He also provides classroom continuing education to industry professionals and regularly teaches the CFP®️ Ethics course. Brett is a frequent speaker at key client events where he presents on emerging and hot topics in the financial planning arena.

In addition, Brett has his own RIA with over 25 financial advisors across the country that manages over $1.5 billion dollars. Brett is also a volunteer consultant for various organizations. In that capacity, he helps the organization’s clients address their complex financial planning situations.

Brett grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Newtown, PA with his wife, two children, one cat and one dog.

Justin Fitzpatrick, PhD, CFA, CFP®️

Justin Fitzpatrick is co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer of Income Lab, a software company where he leads research and development. Justin is focused on advancing the research and practice of retirement planning, and his research and writing have appeared in many top industry publications. Justin is a CFA Charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner professional. He earned a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has taught at MIT; Harvard University; Queen Mary, University of London; and UCLA.

Justin and his wife Jamie live in Golden, Colorado along with their three young children. They enjoy spending time in the outdoors with friends and family, especially hiking, biking, and skiing.

Dr. Riley Moynes

Dr. Riley Moynes has enjoyed a distinguished career spanning four decades in both public and private sectors.

In public education, he served as a Department Head, a Superintendent and a Director of Education. He also authored several textbooks including a History of Russia, and a World Religions text.

In the private sector, he was a Founding Partner of a major Canadian Wealth Management Firm, and Senior Financial Advisor.

Since stepping back from day-to-day involvement in financial services, Dr. Moynes researches and writes reader-friendly publications on topics of general interest, and presents Workshops across North America based on those publications.

One of his most recent books, The Four Phases of Retirement, became a national best-seller within 12 months of publication, was the basis of his TEDx Talk (which has received over 3.8 million views) and his presentation today.

John Owens CFP®️, EA, ECA, CPWA®️ is the Director of Financial Planning and Chief Compliance Officer at Brooklyn FI, a fee-only wealth management and tax firm based in Brooklyn, NY. Brooklyn FI helps tech professionals and creative entrepreneurs achieve financial independence. John resides in Lancaster, PA.

Cozy Wittman

As Education and Partnership leader at College Inside Track, Cozy Wittman speaks nationally about college search, educating families and training financial advisors and other professionals who work with families with high schoolers.

College search has become increasingly complex, the nuances hard to understand; Cozy is passionate about dispelling myths around how colleges accept students and how they price their product. She has been featured in The Journal of Financial Planning on the subject of college planning.

Cozy is excited to connect with organizations and families interested in learning more about the complex college search process. She is a mom of 5 kids with very different goals for college so she is no stranger to the challenges around college search.
