The ideal candidate is a CFP® that has at least three years of experience leading client relationships and has delivered and implemented a minimum of 100 plans over at least 3 years, with additional experience in a support role. This individual will need to be confident in their ability to take over existing clients (within a six-month transition period), and must have experience preparing, delivering, and implementing holistic and comprehensive wealth plans handling client transactions, leading client meetings, and being not only responsive but proactive with clients in overcoming obstacles in getting their financial house 100% in order, and keeping it that way year after year. Must have competency with executive equity compensation plans, Employer retirement plans, income in retirement and tax strategies.


Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead advisor for established client relationships and prepare asset management proposals for both current and new client relationships.

• Prepare, deliver, and implement financial plans and investment proposals to established and prospective clients.

• Ensure 50 clients plans annually are prepared, delivered, and implemented. Prepare for, lead, and follow up after each client meeting proactively. Firm owner is CFP® and contracted CFP, JD available for collaboration and quality assurance of all plans.

• Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.

• Effectively communicate wealth strategy, planning solutions, and value proposition.

• Work with para planner, and business development advisor to ensure all client data including financial documents, constraints and goals are in house before developing the plan.

• Work with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience.

• Participate in following and documenting workflows and best in class practices to streamline the planning function.

• Oversee supporting team members, including Associate Wealth Advisors and administrative team members with the goal of maintaining a cohesive and successful advisory team that provides excellent client service.

• Responsible for maintaining and growing key center of influence relationships.

• Commit to continuous improvement of the firm’s strategic processes to both improve the client experience and outcomes, quality, and time per plan.

• Track and report (via CRM and workflow systems) on each client to know if their financial house is in order or not and what needs to be done next, at both the client and the firm level.

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.

• CFP® required.

• Series 66 or 65 required.

• 10+ years of experience with an investment consulting/management firm, family office, or RIA required.

• 3 + years leading client and center of influence relationships required.

• Experience with CRM, financial planning software, and MS Office.

• Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Able to work under pressure, document work products, and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality and caring for our clients and the team, in a fast-paced, collaborative, adherence to the highest professional standards, process and results driven service environment.
