Estate Planning Specialist

Accredited Investors Wealth Management® is currently seeking a client-focused, collaborative, and driven individual with a proven track record to serve as an internal estate planning resource within an industry-leading wealth management firm. The Estate Planning Specialist is responsible for assisting in estate planning projects and implementing strategies in coordination with the Wealth Management team, clients, attorneys, and outside advisors. Primary Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in regular estate planning reviews and assist with planning opportunities and updates as identified

• Maintain a database of preferred attorneys and advisor contacts in estate and related legal planning areas

• Coordinate with attorneys to manage an efficient exchange of information in drafting documents as well as collaborate on implementing various estate planning initiatives such as estate administration, asset titling, and beneficiary changes

• Maintain the firm’s estate planning templates and resources

• Manage internal team member estate planning related questions and escalate to external resources when appropriate

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Self-disciplined with commitment to quality, attention to detail, and accuracy while taking pride and ownership of work product

• Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with ability to effectively engage team members and outside advisors

• Ability to work successfully within a culture of driving results with high personal and professional integrity

• Excellent organizational and time management skills; proven drive to consistently follow-through

• Openly receive and provide feedback in an effective way

Education and Experience

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years of industry related experience

• Paralegal experience preferred, JD a plus

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
