Full Time Financial Planner

Rapidly growing, fee-only planning firm seeking Financial Planner to help in all facets of financial planning and client engagement.

The Role:

• Client Review meetings: Assist in preparation, execution and follow up from client review meetings.

• New Client Onboarding: Assist with the generation of financial plan for new clients.

• Investment/Portfolio Management: Assist in quarterly review/monitoring/implementation of firmwide investment strategies. Become proficient in trading to assist in executing trades, rebalancing, and handling distribution requests.

• Client Services: Promptly respond to client needs. Assist with account maintenance, quarterly billing, and coordination of client meetings.

• Team Participation: As a team-oriented firm, we’re looking for employees that thrive in team environment rather than someone who might simply be looking to ‘grow a book of business’ on their own. We are seeking employees interested in partnership/equity in the firm.

Desired Background, Skills & Attributes

• Entrepreneurial minded individuals attracted to future partnership or equity opportunity

• 4-year degree in finance or related field and have or be working toward an additional credential such as CFP?, CPA or CFA

• 2-5 Years in the financial industry or related work, preferably in a wealth management firm

• Comfortable using or learning to use various software, including the Mac operating system, CRM (Wealthbox), Financial Planning (eMoney), Custodial Platforms (Fidelity), Performance Reporting (Tamarac), etc

• Ensure prospects and clients experience first class client service and feel confident that we have their best interest at heart

• Unquestioned integrity in personal and professional activities

• Highly motivated, adaptable and intellectually stimulated

• Comfortable interacting with clients in person and via phone/email; capable image in action and appearance

• Team oriented and comfortable wearing many hats in a growing organization
