Wealth Management Firm Seeks Financial Planning Associate – Atlanta, GA

Comprehensive wealth management firm with offices in Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, Florida, and Northern NJ seeks a Financial Planning Associate to join its team. Modera Wealth Management, LLC is an independent, fee-only firm that provides clients with financial planning and investment management. Modera has been featured in Inc. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support client relationships through research, follow-up, and documentation of ongoing financial planning tasks.
  • Support the development of comprehensive financial plans focused on cash flow, tax, investment strategy, retirement planning, estate planning, executive compensation and risk management.
  • Communicate with clients on the implementation of their financial plans and tracking of open items.
  • Participate in client meetings.
  • Collaborate with the investment team to manage client portfolios and act as a liaison to communicate client specific circumstance pertinent to the investment management process.
  • Work with client service and operations teams to facilitate new client on-boarding and monitor service requests.

Qualifications for this position:

  • CFP® certification or demonstrated progress towards certification.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a wealth management-related or financial services field.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly proficient in financial planning software and Microsoft Excel. CRM experience desired.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player, able to work well with all levels of the firm, as well as with clients.
