We are representing a fee-only firm in Peterborough, NH that is seeking a Director of Financial Planning to join their team. Our client is an independent, fee-only financial planning and investment advisory firm in the idyllic, affluent, New England town of Peterborough, NH – only 1.5 hours from Boston. They are a small, tech-savvy, and rapidly growing firm managing $260M on behalf of their clients. Their team of 6 are values driven, prioritizing love, honor, and authenticity in all aspects of their daily life.

RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH

You will have significant influence on the future of the firm with a high level of autonomy and decision-making ability. You will be independently working with clients, taking them through the complete financial planning process, identifying opportunities, and implementing recommendations.  As Director, you will be charged to develop and improve the firm’s ongoing financial planning protocol and process including mentoring/training staff. With direct responsibility for clients, you must exude confidence in your delivery of advice in-person and by phone.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Master's Degree (or currently enrolled) in a related field, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA).

Lead advisor capability ready to assume current and prospective client relationships. Must be professionally driven and actively seek out challenges. Sense of urgency to help co-workers, clients, and the community. Excellent client communication with follow-through on commitments. Desire to relocate to Peterborough, NH – an entrepreneurial spirited, economically diverse, and culturally rich community.
