We are a national recruiting firm specializing in placing financial planning professionals with leading wealth management firms nationwide. We are representing a fee-only firm in New York City that is seeking a Senior Advisor Associate join their team. Detailed job specifications available once we connect and agree it is a mutual fit.


FEE-ONLY RIA. $5+ BILLION AUM.

Our client is one of the largest RIAs in the country. Since 1995, their clients have entrusted them with their future and relied on them to advise on all decisions related to investment management, retirement planning, and estate planning. This is an ideal opportunity for an intellectually curious, self-starter looking for a challenging opportunity to help clients and impact the firm in a meaningful way.


RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH

You will work directly with Advisors, providing support including data gathering, case design, scenario building, financial plan development, and financial plan implementation. Work with other internal teams to prepare for client meetings which you will attend. Manage all meeting follow-up activities. Create proposals for prospective clients and drafts of financial plans for clients. Monitor portfolios and maintain portfolio allocations. Perform trading and rebalancing as needed. Initiate and field client calls and respond to client emails. Assist with special projects as required.


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors’ degree or higher from an accredited university; major in financial planning, business, accounting, finance, economics, or law preferred. 2+ years of related experience required. Completion of CFP® certification educational curriculum required (or pursuing CFA or JD). Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with any CRM, portfolio management and/or financial planning software is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication. Continuously exhibits personal integrity and professional initiative.
