Support Advisor Position

Mallard Financial Partners is a fee-only financial planning and investment management firm located in Newark, DE. We have been serving the local community for over 20 years. Our services include hourly planning, retirement planning, tax planning, cash flow analysis and ongoing investment management. The continued growth experienced by the firm has opened a Support Advisor position. This position is the stepping stone towards a financial advisor position within the firm. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for assisting in the client financial planning relationship, will need to be passionate about the fee-only fiduciary approach to financial planning, will need to have a desire of becoming a financial advisor, and have the desire to cultivate life-long relationships with our clients. The position not only offers great growth potential, but also the possibility for ownership in the firm.

Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:

• Lead client prospect meetings

• Participate in client meetings, supporting Financial Advisors in capturing client information through note taking

• Support the firm’s Financial Advisors in the delivery of advice to clients

• Prepare financial modeling and financial planning documents

• Complete follow-up activities from client meetings

• Regularly track, with detail and accuracy, client financial situation through Redtail CRM

• Prepare Investment Policy Statements for all on-going clients

Qualifications:

• Successful completion of the CFP® exam; CFP® certification a plus

• Bachelors degree from accredited institution

• Must interact effectively with office staff and be a goal-oriented team player

• Strong attention to detail

• Work efficiently with minimal amount of direction

• Experience with Redtail, MoneyGuidePro, Morningstar Office and TD Ameritrade custodial platform is a plus
