  • Private Client Financial Associate will work in conjunction with a Senior Financial Advisor to determine the needs of clients and to manage, provide advice and recommendations that best meet their needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assess clients’ assets, liabilities, cash flow, insurance coverage, tax status, and financial objectives
  • Create and implement financial planning solutions
  • Generate investment policy statements and provide portfolio analysis
  • Maintain and implement client investment portfolios
  • Prepare and deliver financial planning recommendations and analysis
  • Participate in client and prospect meetings
  • Work with client service department for ongoing client management
  • Interact with clients’ CPAs, attorneys and insurance professionals
  • Assist with data gathering and analysis projects

Job Requirements

Industry/Business Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of financial services experience. FINRA Series 65 or 66 a plus.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree a plus. Enrolled in or completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP), CFA, CPA, CIMA designations or equivalent a plus.

  • Detail-oriented and methodical; critical thinking and process oriented
  • Follows up and follows through
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments, in addition to the ability to be highly relational with clients
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Willingness to take initiative and problem solve
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple ojects
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Self-starter who is assertive, proactive, independent, flexible and accommodating
  • Experience in most Microsoft Office applications. Comfortable learning and navigating new technology and software applications. Experience with Salesforce, eMoney, and/or Tamarac a major plus
