About Pitzl Financial

We are a fast-growing, comprehensive financial planning firm that presently serves around 130 households and manages roughly $125 million in investment assets. We are a fee-only financial planning firm and independent members of the BAM Alliance. We also have an independent, sister CPA firm that we are closely affiliated with.

We believe in financial planning, not a financial plan. As life evolves, financial situations and goals evolve, highlighting the necessity for an ongoing commitment to the process, and a philosophy centered on maintaining financial flexibility and resiliency throughout our clients’ lifetimes.

Role of Financial Planner

The Financial Planner will work directly with the firm’s Wealth Advisor(s) in developing tools, processes and recommendations that aid our clients’ pursuit of financial success. This position is heavily engaged in our client relationships and planning process, from initial prospective client meetings to long-term relationships.

The Financial Planner will also be responsible for overseeing the organization and implementation of all areas of the financial planning process for a group of clients, tracking progress of goals and objectives, and becoming the go-to person for the majority of client requests and recommendations.

There is tremendous upside in this role, as we are a young and rapidly growing firm.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development of systems, processes and procedures to ensure consistency of service across all client relationships

• Develop relationships with existing and new clients as a trusted advisor

• Assist with trading and investment reallocations

• Quickly learn our philosophies, systems and processes, suggest adjustments and improvements where needed

• Gather and organize client information in our CRM (Junxure), manage workflows, and track planning progress

• Ability to work independently and adapt / innovate without explicit instructions

• A commitment to confidentiality and adherence to a fiduciary duty of care

Job Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree, CFP® designation strongly preferred

• 3-7 years of financial planning / wealth advisory experience

• High degree of technical planning knowledge, particularly in the areas of tax planning and distribution planning

• Familiarity with financial planning applications (Junxure, Orion, InStream, Income Solver, eMoney) preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to manage time effectively with multiple projects and deadlines
