We are seeking a detail oriented candidate with strong analytical and planning capabilities to join our growing company. As the Financial Planning Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with investment management and financial planning duties. What you will get to do:
  • Responsible for financial analysis and plan development in the areas of retirement planning, estate planning, risk management, education planning, portfolio management, and income tax planning.
  • Organize, coordinate, and maintain all client source materials in support of financial plan development
  • Develop the financial plan with alternatives and recommendations, and frame the plan for presentation and/or delivery to the client
  • Liaison between clients and staff to create and maintain a favorable client experience
  • Answer client questions via telephone and in person, contact appropriate parties to resolve issues
  • Evaluate planning tools and review new alternatives, enhance office procedures as needed

What our client seeks in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, finance related curriculum preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Schwab Portfolio Center, Redtail CRM, and eMoney, preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
