We are seeking an Associate Financial Planner to join our growing team. The AFP will work closely with advisors to handle client requests, meeting preparation, and meeting follow up tasks as well as regularly participate in client meetings with a lead advisor. We expect this person to be able to meet with clients and prospective clients independently within twelve to eighteen months.

What you will get to do:

  • Prepare for client meetings including, drafting agendas and completing reports and spreadsheets
  • Participate and take notes in prospect, new client, and existing client meetings
  • Complete post-meeting follow-up tasks, document and delegate actions appropriately in Junxure
  • Work with Tamarac software to help with recommendations for trades to rebalance client portfolios; place approved trades for client portfolios
  • Work with Moneyguide Pro software to run retirement projections and be able to analyze the outputs and make recommendations for clients
  • Assist clients with portfolio related questions and concerns
  • Participate in various special projects including, research on different investments, writing memos and/or reports, creating new tools or spreadsheets to improve efficiency, etc.
  • Attend Investment Committee Meetings

What our client seeks in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • CFP® designation
  • 3+ years of financial planning experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
