We are seeking a Financial Planning Associate to help shape the future of our firm. This is a professional position that will assist our Wealth Advisors in the creation of complex and comprehensive financial projections for our clientele. The Wealth Advisors are available to provide mentoring and big picture direction, but you must have the ability to utilize critical thinking skills, work independently and anticipate firm needs. We are looking for a vibrant and energetic professional who has a passion for the profession and envisions themselves becoming a Wealth Advisor within our organization. What you will get to do:

  • Assist Wealth Advisor in organizing and gathering client’s financial planning data
  • Review planning inputs and estate and insurance executive summaries with Financial Planner
  • Follow-up with clients and planners on any items discussed during meetings; enter tasks in Client Relationship Management (CRM) system
  • Assist planners in researching topics and drafting client email communications
  • Assist with all non-advisory questions and paperwork, including processing forms and applications for investment accounts and related forms for business transactions
  • Track and prepare financial plan updates when applicable

What our client seeks in a candidate:

  • Demonstrated passion for the financial planning profession
  • Pursuing CFP® certification
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably with a financial planning specialization
  • 1-3 years of experience, preferably in financial planning
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Ability to identify, meet and follow through with client needs and requirements
  • Must be a self-starter, problem solver and a goal-oriented team player with a ‘no job is beneath me’ attitude
  • Show confidence when dealing with clients and the Wealth Advisors
  • Ability to write clearly and concisely
