What our client is offering:

We are a dynamic, rapidly growing independent wealth management firm in San Francisco that offers comprehensive wealth management services to individuals and families. We are currently seeking to add a new team member to our San Francisco office to manage all aspects of client service for our expanding client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional client service, a positive attitude, and a strong desire to take ownership of an important set of firm responsibilities. They will also be interested in pursuing a long-term career at Waypoint, including the opportunity for internal promotion and additional responsibilities in the future.

What you will get to do:

  • Manage all client account and custodial operations including new account paperwork and set up, account transfers, cashiering, general account maintenance, daily deposits and withdrawals, custodian alerts and cost basis reconciliation
  • Deliver exceptional client service and serve as liaison between advisors, Associate Wealth Managers (AWMs) and clients
  • Maintain all data in portfolio accounting and reporting systems (Portfolio Center & Tamarac Advisor View) including new account set up, security classification, billing groups and client portal set up
  • Serve as backup to Administrative Assistant/Office Manager as needed
  • Provide support on special projects as needed

What we seek in a candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Experienced Client Service Associate or 1-2 years of work experience, financial services industry desired
  • Ideal candidate will be enrolled in a CFP program or be interested in pursuing their CFP credential
  • Personable, responsive, engaging, and a client-first attitude
  • Highly organized with keen ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Schwab and/or Fidelity custodial platforms is highly desirable
