Brewster Financial Planning LLC is a fiduciary financial planning firm located in Park Slope, Brooklyn. We provide holistic financial planning and investment management services to our national client base. We utilize low cost investments with prudent diversified investment strategies that provide competitive returns while minimizing fees and taxes. We are seeking an intern to join the firm. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking for long term working relationship and is interested in a career in financial planning and has an investment philosophy that is in alignment with our own.

The responsibilities of the intern include, but are not limited to:

  • Support financial planner in daily operation
  • Assist financial planner in developing financial plans
  • Trading reconciliations
  • Quarterly reporting


Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrable interest in and basic knowledge of personal finance
  • Coursework in investments, financial planning, finance or related fields
  • Strong organizing, customer service and computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Must be technology savvy and be able to learn new technology quickly
  • Able to work full time. After the probation period, where continued employment is desired by both intern and BFP, the intern will be expected to enroll in a CFP® certification program (if not already enrolled) and obtain the CFP® certification.”
