Christopher Barrile (CMA, MBA, MS)
Chris Barrile is the owner of Arbor Hill Financial, LLC. Chris focuses his practice on serving clients that are within twenty years of retirement and aren’t sure if they are on track or maybe haven’t yet started saving for retirement. Retirement can mean many different things to clients. Chris likes to think of “retirement” as financial independence. Meaning, when you have saved enough to allow you the freedom to do what you like. For some clients, that’s continuing to work even though they don’t have to, for others it may be pursuing a new part-time career because it’s fun, or maybe it’s quitting work and traveling the country or the world. It’s totally up to each client how they define their retirement.
A typical client of Arbor Hill Financial is an individual or couple in their forties or fifties that have been focused on raising a family, growing their careers, saving for or helping to put their kids through college, have saved a little in a company 401K, and are now beginning to think about retirement. It’s not uncommon for a client to have a low or negative net worth and that’s completely okay. What’s great is to see clients get excited about taking control of their financial future.
