Additional Information

Brian Sheahen, CPA, CFP®, MST is the Founder & Managing Director of Hudson Oak Wealth Advisory.  Brian is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) and has a Masters of Science in Taxation (MST) from Fordham’s Graduate School of Business. He has roughly a decade of experience exclusively in the financial services industry in New York & New Jersey.  Brian founded Hudson Oak Wealth Advisory to leverage what he learned at larger organizations working exclusively with private wealth clients and offer that knowledge and service model to other high-earners, high-wealth and the mass affluent that had not traditionally been offered an independent, comprehensive, transparent and expert solution.

Prior to founding Hudson Oak Wealth Advisory, Brian was a Vice President with a Mutli-Family Office in NYC focusing on ultra-high-net-worth clients wealth advisory and investment management needs.  Brian was also previously an advisor with Modera Wealth Management where he focused on wealth management and financial planning for high-net-worth clients.  Brian gained tax experience as a tax advisor with Andersen Tax's Private Client Services group in NYC where he focused on tax and planning needs for business owners and founders, corporate executives, medical professionals and more.  Brian began his career at PwC, one of the "big four" public accounting firms, one of the world's leading attestation, tax, and advisory firms.

Brian resides in Hoboken, NJ with his wife.  Together they enjoy all the tri-state has to offer as well as hiking, traveling.  They regularly hike the Hudson Valley and have visited many of our National Parks around the country.  In his spare time, Brian enjoys reading, listening to or playing music, following sports, and always learning about history, financial planning, markets, and business.
