Will Masse is energized by the meaningful relationships he builds with clients as a financial advisor. “I want to listen to and understand the clients I work with,” he says. “Knowing who you are as a person allows me to provide the best possible advice.”

Will especially enjoys guiding clients through equity compensation decisions and the challenges that accompany life changes, including divorce and retirement. He derives great satisfaction from helping clients organize their financial lives to relieve concerns.

Joining Team Hewins in early 2019 as an Associate Advisor, Will rose quickly to Financial Advisor after becoming a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

An avid tennis player and fan, Will draws comparisons between the sport and investing: “One of the most decorated tennis players of all time, Novak Djokovic, won just 54.9% of the points he played from 2015 to 2019, yet won an unprecedented nine Grand Slam championships over that time period. That number is very close to the 53.8% of positive days for the S&P 500 over the past 70 years, which produced an 11.5% annualized return.”

The point? In both cases, you can achieve impressive goals in the end with a steady, consistent approach.

As former captain of his college tennis team, Will also understands the power of leadership and teamwork in achieving great outcomes. He appreciates the team-based approach to serving clients at Team Hewins that allows us to bring our best to every interaction.

Will graduated from Salve Regina University with a B.S. in Financial Management and Minor in Economics. Outside of work, he enjoys travel, tennis (of course), and supporting the New England Patriots.
