I enjoy working with those who want help managing their wealth and planning for their financial future. Through the financial planning process, I help my clients clarify and prioritize what they feel is most important and address any specific areas of concern they may have.

Additionally, I help clients navigate difficult and complex life transitions such as retiring, getting divorced, coping with the loss of a spouse, selling a business or handling an inheritance. Having personally been through divorce, I obtained my Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™) designation to gain the specialized knowledge needed to help clients during divorce. I find it especially rewarding to help clients during such stressful times, knowing I can help them put a financial plan in place to begin the next phase of their life.

Melissa has over 20 years of experience working in financial services, with the last 11 focused exclusively on helping individuals and families manage their wealth. She came to Resnick Advisors in 2017, and holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification, as well as the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™) designation. Melissa graduated with a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School of of the University of Pennsylvania.

Melissa is currently a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County and also volunteers at the Westport Public Library and for the CT Money School. A long-time resident of Westport, Connecticut, Melissa recently moved to Norwalk. In her free time, she enjoys working out, learning to play golf, and singing with local bands.
