Additional Information
I’m the proud son of an Air Force Veteran and a loving stay-at-home mom who raised four children. As a military brat, I spent my early years bouncing from Oklahoma, where I was born, to Germany, Rhode Island, Illinois, and Montana, before my father retired and settled in Rhode Island.
In 1991 I started Star Medical, a durable medical supply company, which still operates today. Having a passion for financial planning, I went back to school earning a bachelor’s degree in Business Studies from Southern New Hampshire University and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation from Bryant University.
To add practical experience, I went to work for a large registered investment advisory firm where I spent almost five years. As I worked my way from Associate to the Director of Financial Planning, I could only describe my experience as a baptism by fire. While difficult at times, it would be impossible to replace the magnitude of real-world experience gained and I consider my time their to have been invaluable. Frustrated by the inability to focus my time exclusively on clients, I decided to start my own firm and since 2012, I have had the great pleasure of helping families, all while doing what I love.
My wife Carrie and I live in Wickford with our two Brussell Griffons, Georgina and Theodore.
