Planning Specialties

Erin Hilton earned her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2004. In order to provide impartial advice, she chose to cut ties with broker dealers, therefore forgoing all of her other licenses such as the Series 7, Series 65, Series 63, and Life and Health licenses.

She is a compelling advocate for you, and in most cases you will become long lasting friends, assuming she doesn't embarrass you at parties and stuff. She is thoroughly knowledgeable in all areas of financial planning. She has many years of experience (18 to be exact) dealing with critical issues involved with business planning, estate planning, long- and short-term financial planning, college planning, implementing strategies to minimize taxes and making sure your health and life insurance policies are up to par and nothing is overlapping.  Many times she finds that there is an overlap with home and auto policies, for example. That is just one of the ways she can save you money. She has a comprehensive approach that combines the most efficient strategies for making investments while helping you understand your current situation in all aspects of your financial life. And blah blah blah..You get the point.  Basically, she's really good at what she does.

Additional Information

Hilton Financial Group, LLC (HFG) was established to help SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS achieve the financial success you deserve. I get you. As a business owner, I have been where you are now. You worry about growing your business, being more efficient, more competitive, more profitable, retaining top employees, providing the best service AND BALANCING all of that with your personal life. The pressure is on, but you don't have the time to optimize and organize your finances. I help you reach that "ah-ha" moment. I help you figure out what you want your life to look like and make it happen. You will be provided with the tools and strategies necessary to accomplish your goals and make life long changes.

After 18 years working for large financial firms that recommend what’s suitable for you rather than what's in your best interest, I decided the only way I could make a difference was to open my own firm. I feel that this is the only way I can truly feel good and fulfilled about what I do. I enjoy helping others and the traditional financial planning position was incongruent with my goals.

When not working, I volunteer for NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) teaching a 12 week course to families that that care for someone that is mentally ill.  Until I was able to actually help my clients, volunteering was my main source of personal fulfillment.

I am also a single mom of a 14 year old daughter that just started High School. That is a bit challenging.
