Kacy Bass is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP®) and a Uniform Investment Advisor. He completed his Master of Family and Consumer Sciences Degree specializing in Family Financial Planning at Iowa State University in 2018.

Kacy leads the Clarity team in the area of financial planning using an approach which has been refined over the last 30 years of successfully helping people achieve financial well-being.  This approach begins with listening to clients to understand their purpose and values which are at the center of their investing, spending, and giving.  Kacy’s strengths are in creating and monitoring a financial plan that will help clients realize and accomplish these goals.

Additional Information

Kacy grew up in Huxley, Iowa. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois in 2012.  He and his wife returned to central Iowa where Kacy began pursuing a career in helping others accomplish their financial goals.  He began working at Clarity Asset Management, Inc. in January 2014. Kacy became a Uniform Investment Advisor in March 2015 and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional in December 2016.  He completed his Master of Family and Consumer Sciences Degree specializing in Family Financial Planning at Iowa State University in 2018 and began as a Guest Lecturer at Iowa State University in the financial planning program in 2019.

Kacy, his wife, and their three sons live in Ames, Iowa.  Kacy enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his family, and being active in the Ames community.
