Jason A. Smith, CFP® is the managing principal and financial planner for Hausman Advisors. He serves as the clients Personal Wealth Engineer helping clients follow their personalized financial life plan supported by evidence-based investment strategy. As a former scientist, Jason is a life-long learner and educator alike. He is passionate about helping people discover and act on what is most important to them about their money and their lives.

Jason holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation and is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) and the Financial Planning Association of Oregon and SW Washington. He received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Idaho and an Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from the Pamplin School of Business, University of Portland.

When Jason isn't working, he spends his time with his wife and two children enjoying the many outdoor activities that the Columbia River Gorge offers, such as mountain biking, road biking, hiking, skiing and sailing to name a few.
