Planning Specialties
As a Senior Advisor at FAI Wealth Management, My area of focus reflects my experience. I work with business owners, executives, and engineers in transition. These transitions include, retirement, mid- and late-life marriage transitions, sudden wealth, and selling a business. In addition, I work with clients with elderly parents in transition.
Business Owners, Executives, and Professionals
Business owners, executives, and engineers have many options and managing their benefits in retirement can be complex. My background in accounting and finance allows me to “speak the language.” I have 20 years of experience in corporate accounting and management.
I have worked with engineers, scientists, and other technical professionals all my life. My father was an engineer for Westinghouse for 39 years. My corporate experience involved working with engineers, mathematicians and scientist with high-tech companies in the Baltimore-Washington area.
I recognize that spreadsheets are only part of financial planning. The transition to retirement involves setting and achieving individual and family goals in the “Third Chapter” of life.
I enjoy collaborating clients on goals and complex issues to help them understand their financial life.
Elderly Parents
I also specialize in working with clients with elderly parents. I cared for my father and understand the issues and multiple priorities faced by the “sandwich generation” – those raising and supporting children and caring for elderly parents. I have a network of professionals to help clients with their parent’s transition issues.
