Kevin Sweeney is a Principal and Wealth Manager at Modera Wealth Management, LLC. As a Wealth Manager, Kevin works with clients to determine their personal objectives and develop and implement financial planning and investment strategies designed to help meet those goals.
Prior to joining Modera, Kevin spent twenty-one years practicing law in Boston handling complex employment-related and other civil litigation cases. During that time he achieved an AV® rating by Martindale-Hubbell, recognizing him for maintaining the highest levels of competence and ethics in the legal profession.
Additional Information
Kevin earned his Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame and his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Cornell Law School. He completed the financial planning program at Boston University in 2007 and passed the Certified Financial Planner™ examination in July of that year. Kevin received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2010. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.
Outside of Modera, Kevin and his wife Deirdre moved to central Florida at the start of 2016, and he now works out of the firm’s Florida office after seven years in its Boston location. He has been a regular participant in the Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Cape Cod Getaway fund raiser bike ride and the Dana-Farber-Jimmy Fund Marathon fund raiser walk. Kevin returned to Modera in 2013 after having lived for a year with his wife in Rome and Orvieto, Italy, during which time they traveled around Italy and the eastern Mediterranean. (CAM 3029)
