Planning Specialties
Since becoming a financial advisor nearly 15 years ago, Jonathon has spent a considerable amount of time working with clients who are in the entrepreneurial space, helping them to build a strong financial plan that incorporates the complexities of owning a business. Because of the United States’ aging demographic of small business owners – and the fact he has clients thinking about business succession – Jonathon elected to pursue and earn the Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA) designation to further bolster his knowledge and add additional value for his clients. Between his background collaborating with business owners and the CEPA designation, Jonathon is well-equipped to help bring clarity to business owners’ financial situations.
Additionally, Jonathon specializes in special needs planning, which is something he has done for his own family. Jonathon’s son, Jachin, has Sturge-Weber Syndrome, a galvanizing factor in pushing Jonathon to pursue a career in financial advising to help plan for his own family’s financial future. So not only does Jonathon have the financial planning expertise to help families navigate special needs planning, but he has lived the experience himself, and intimately understands the myriad challenges involved in creating such a plan.
