     As April 15th approaches, many taxpayers will turn to Turbo Tax or other software programs to file their 2009 income tax returns.  The "Do It Yourself" approach has many advantages such as convenience and low cost, however there are significant drawbacks.  Most tax software is only backward looking as its sole goal is to correctly report the taxable events which occurred last year.
