Potential Recipients: NAPFA member or staff. Criterion: Nominations require that a candidate has contributed significant effort to the advancement of NAPFA’s membership enrollment and/or procedures. This criterion may be a single act or a cumulative performance. Due to the difficulty of observing and measuring a practitioner’s impact on the organization, it will not be an award given yearly. Significance will be measured by a positive impact on the organization as a whole and the effort exerted by the candidate.
Nomination process: Nominations will be solicited from the membership through the NAPFA Advisor. An announcement should be placed in the September issue. The nomination should identify the specific act or performance for which the award is recommended, as well as a brief description of its impact.
Selection process: A committee of three individuals (the outgoing Chair and two other Directors as appointed by the Chair) will select from nominees submitted by the membership and the Board.
The NAPFA Special Membership Award will be made in conjunction with the National Conference. It does not have to be granted every year. |
